Colour Taxi™ is a multidisciplinary art and design studio based in Bangalore, India, with a growing community of learners and collaborators from around the world. We craft unique visuals and products for people, brands, and spaces seeking timeless expression, and have helped over 150 brands tell their stories.
Through our Art Workshops for Creative Souls, we’re building a close-knit circle where people can reconnect with their imagination, grow at their own pace, and express themselves freely through art.
Our online art classes are for everyone, whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or looking to deepen your practice and explore new directions. This is a space to learn, create, and build work that feels personal and meaningful.
Meet the Artist
All sessions are led by Deepraj Dutta, a featured artist, designer, and the founder of Colour Taxi™ and Tohfa Shofa®. With over a decade of experience in illustration, design, animation, and product design, he brings a unique mix of creativity, storytelling, and practical techniques to each session.
With learners from around the world, his teaching style is appreciated by students of all ages. He believes art is not just about technique, but also about expression and connection. His classes help you strengthen your skills, build confidence, and explore your creativity at your own pace, with guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.

Choose Your Art Journey
Painting & Creative Expression
This group is ideal for anyone just starting out or returning to art after a break. It offers a welcoming space to build confidence, explore different techniques, and enjoy the process of making art.
What you’ll learn:
• Foundations of drawing and sketching
• Pencil shading and understanding light
• Introduction to acrylics and watercolours
• Getting comfortable with tools and materials
• Creative exercises to spark your imagination
Whether you're brand new or picking up where you left off, this group helps you reconnect with your creativity at your own pace.
Fee : INR 4,500 (6-8 Online Sessions)
Art Workshops & Meetups
As part of the journey, Colour Taxi also hosts art workshops and in-person meetups that focus on professional crafts and woodworking. These provide a hands-on break from the screen and a deeper dive into creative making.
What to Expect
• Practical sessions exploring sculptural and form-based work
• Opportunities to experiment, connect, and collaborate
• All tools and materials are provided on-site
• Participants will be informed in advance about what to bring (usually just a sketchbook, pencils & colours, aprons)
We host these workshops throughout the year in beautiful locations, and they’re open to everyone.
